Ladies and gentlemen:

Firstly, as Secretary General of the Global Alumni Association of Maple Leaf International Schools, and on behalf of Dr. Sherman Jen and over 8000 alumni around the world, I sincerely congratulate the Class of 2015! Welcome to our global alumni network!I have a piece of great news for you. During the 20th Anniversary celebration last week, we officially established 20 branches in 5 countries and appointed local presidents. They are:

  1. Australia: Melbourne (Lou Yi), Sydney (Wang Haoyu)
  2. Canada: Toronto (Tang Lei), Halifax (Li Xulong), Vancouver (Lu Yifan)
  3. New Zealand: Wellington (Gao Yan)

Mr. Ren Hongge

Mr. Ren Hongge graduated from Maple Leaf International School – Dalian in 2002. He is now Secretary General of the Global Alumni Association of Maple Leaf International Schools and Director of Maple Leaf Educational Systems (MLES) College Counseling Center. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Victoria, Canada in 2008. In 2012, he became one of the seven Marco Polo fellows at Harvard University, USA, and obtained his Master of Education degree in Technology, Innovation and Education the next year.

Miss Yu Miao

MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Miss Yu Miao graduated from Maple Leaf International School – Dalian in 2005. She earned her Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Toronto, Canada and recently received her Ph.D in Biochemistry from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.

Mr. Lin Kaixiang

Mr. Lin Kaixiang graduated from Maple Leaf International School – Dalian in 2009. He earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Toronto, Canada in 2013 and has been admitted into the doctoral program in Chemistry by Harvard University, USA.
