Tom Rogers trained to be a teacher at the University of Sheffield, where he also earned a master's degree. His undergraduate major and teaching specialism are in History. He is also qualified as an ESL instructor and as a football coach.

Tom has had several roles in education, including working for universities in England and China. He first joined Maple Leaf in 2008 at the Wuhan campus. This is Tom’s eighth year as part of the admin team and fifth as principal. He feels privileged to have worked with so many excellent educators and amazing students.
