Maple Leaf International High School

Maple Leaf International School Chongqing (MLIS-CQ) is a certified British Columbia offshore school operating in the city of Yongchuan, Chongqing. MLIS-CQ follows British Columbia curriculum, taught in English by British Columbia certified teachers. The school undergoes a rigorous annual inspection from the British Columbia Ministry of Education, and has just recently also been accredited by AdvancED, which is the largest school accreditation organization in the world. MLIS-CQ is a dual diploma program, as students graduate with both the British Columbia ‘Dogwood’ diploma, and a Chinese high school diploma. The school provides a co-educational boarding campus. There were 574 high school students in the 2015-2016 school year, with 109 graduating students. Over 100 well known universities and colleges from around the world sent representatives to visit MLIS-CQ in 2015-2016 looking to recruit our talented graduates for their post-secondary programs.
