  • Provided with a high school education that blends the strengths of East and West and prepares them well for the international world of the future
  • Enrolled as both Chinese and British Columbia, Canada students
  • Chinese equivalency credits are granted for British Columbia courses
  • Issued two high school diplomas - Chinese and British Columbia
  • Taught and assessed by British Columbia, Canada certified teachers
  • Assessed in the same manner and on the same curriculum learning outcomes as students residing in British Columbia
  • Write the same provincial examinations as all resident students in British Columbia
  • Exams are invigilated by British Columbia-certified teachers under a supervising British Columbia-certified principal
  • Exams are evaluated by working teams of teachers in British Columbia
  • Receive the same British Columbia Ministry of Education official transcript of marks and high school Graduation (Dogwood) Diploma as any resident student graduating in British Columbia, Canada
  • Graduates applying to study at universities or colleges in Canada receive study permits (student visas) through a streamlined process based on an agreement dealing with immigration issues signed by British Columbia and Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
  • Maple Leaf graduates are actively recruited by, and attend a large number of universities and colleges in Canada, United Kingdom, United States, Australia and other countries.

For the last four years, Maple Leaf's Grade 12 students' average scores on British Columbia, Canada's Grade 12 Provincial Examnations have been higher than the average scores of students residing in British Columbia in Mathmetics, Mandarin, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
