- Provided with a high school education that blends the strengths of East and West and prepares them well for the international world of the future
- Enrolled as both Chinese and British Columbia, Canada students
- Chinese equivalency credits are granted for British Columbia courses
- Issued two high school diplomas - Chinese and British Columbia
- Taught and assessed by British Columbia, Canada certified teachers
- Assessed in the same manner and on the same curriculum learning outcomes as students residing in British Columbia
- Write the same provincial examinations as all resident students in British Columbia
- Exams are invigilated by British Columbia-certified teachers under a supervising British Columbia-certified principal
- Exams are evaluated by working teams of teachers in British Columbia
- Receive the same British Columbia Ministry of Education official transcript of marks and high school Graduation (Dogwood) Diploma as any resident student graduating in British Columbia, Canada
- Graduates applying to study at universities or colleges in Canada receive study permits (student visas) through a streamlined process based on an agreement dealing with immigration issues signed by British Columbia and Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
- Maple Leaf graduates are actively recruited by, and attend a large number of universities and colleges in Canada, United Kingdom, United States, Australia and other countries.
