School History

On March 1, 2007 Maple Leaf Educational Systems opened the Wuhan Maple Leaf International School in temporary quarters provided by the Wuhan Government. By September a beautiful new school was completed on a picturesque 270,000 square meter property surrounding a small lake in the East Lake New Technology Development Zone.

A Public Opening Ceremony was held in our new school facility on September 3, 2007.

Wuhan Maple Leaf International School was certified as a British Columbia Offshore school beginning in the 2007 school year,

Wuhan Maple Leaf International School operates as a fully functioning facility offering an English High School program and an ESL preparation program. The program is delivered by British Columbia certified teachers. Students will earn a British Columbia high school (Dogwood) diploma that gives them access to universities in Canada, the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Europe and Asia.
