Principal’s Message
Welcome to the Wuhan Senior High School Campus of Dalian Maple Leaf Educational Systems. We are located
in the New Technology Development Zone of Wuchang, one of the three municipal areas in the centrally located
city of Wuhan in the People’s Republic of China. Our campus is brand new. Our first phase has a capacity of
500 students and was completed in September 2007. We have embarked on the second phase to provide educational
services to more than 2,000 students. Our students learn from British Columbia certified as well as Chinese
teachers in a unique blend of Canadian and Chinese education that prepares students for a successful learning
experience at western universities and colleges.
We blend the “best of the East and the West” as we work together to build the learning capacity of our students and the teaching efficacy of our staff. We have developed an excellent leadership model that values quality dialogue and a focus on realizing the potential of students. We recognize that there is more to the educated person than the subjects we learn in school. Accordingly, we seek to equip students with the diverse skills, creative nature and positive attitudes that will best serve them in our ever-changing world.
We offer a range of extra-curricular activities and will be adding to our options in September 2008 when the new athletic playing fields are completed.
