Goals and Programs
Maple Leaf Educational System’s mission is to provide quality educational programs from pre-school
through university that blend the strengths of East and West in education. The programs offered
incorporate the strong work ethic, strict discipline, memorization skills, and drive for excellence
developed over a millennium in China’s educational system. This is blended with a western
educational program that incorporates a wide variety of teaching strategies and learning
activities, such as listening, seeing, doing, speaking, discussing, reading, writing,
analyzing and creating. Higher level thinking skills, problem-solving approaches and
group work are implemented throughout. Maple Leaf’s educational programs are implemented,
policies administered, student discipline exercised and school environments generated that
promote healthy student development academically, socially, emotionally and physically.
