CSL Program
Chinese Mandarin as a second language (CSL) is offered to non-Chinese students from beginner through more advanced levels.
An increasing number of international students are taking advantage of this option to learn oral and written Chinese.
International students who join CSL do not require prior Mandarin language skills. Currently three levels of CSL are offered: CSL-C, CSL-B and CSL-A.
International students completing all three levels will be granted equivalency credit for Mandaring 10, 11 and 12. Completing all three levels will enable students to write British Columbia’s Mandarin 12 provincial examination.
