Welcome to Wuhan Maple Leaf Foreign National School.
Our mission is to provide students with a Kindergarten to Grade 9 program of studies, taught in English by B.C. certified
teachers that blends the educational strengths of East and West. Our school is accredited and inspected annually by the 3
Province of British Columbia Ministry of Education. The B.C. education system is recognized as one of the top education systems in the world.
The school’s values are respect, responsibility, honesty and hard work and we take pride in providing an educational environment that supports healthy student development intellectually, physically and emotionally. Students work together with others from different cultures and teachers use a wide variety of teaching strategies to promote higher level thinking skills while ensuring that students are proficient in reading, writing and mathematics. Students are taught the British Columbia curriculum and students have the opportunity to learn Chinese as a second language.
We believe that education is a shared responsibility with the home and that a positive relationship with the family is an important factor in student success. We encourage parents to take part in their child’s learning by participating in school events and volunteering at the school.
By working together and striving for excellence, our students will be well-equipped for future education and their lives as international citizens.
