Mr. L. Dukowski
Principal
Les Dukowski has 22 years experience as a school administrator including 17 years as principal at two secondary schools in Langley, British Columbia. He has also held positions as mathematics teacher, department head, mathematics consultant and district administrator over a 34 year career in public education. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree, Teaching Certificate and a Master of Arts degree in Education.
Mrs. N. Hardy
Primary Teacher
Mrs. Hardy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Okanagan University College and her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia – Okanagan. Mrs. Hardy taught primary students in public school in Vernon, British Columbia and has had experience as a gymnastics instructor. Ms. Hardy teaches students in the Primary program at Wuhan Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals School.
Mr. M. Parkes
Intermediate Teacher
Mr. Parkes teaches intermediate students in at WMLFNS. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Simon Fraser University and his Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Parkes has had a wide variety of experiences. He taught First Nations students in Alberta, Canada, served as a teacher-on-call in the Merritt School District in British Columbia, and taught elementary school in Taiwan. Mr. Parkes’ interests include music, world history, current events, and outdoor activities.
Mr. L. Hardy
Middle School Teacher
Mr. Hardy earned his Bachelor or Education degree from the University of British Columbia – Okanagan. He has had experience as a teacher-on-call in both the private and public school systems and worked extensively with children in summer camps. Mr. Hardy teaches students in Grade 7 and 8.
Ms. S. Ralph
Grade 9 Teacher
Ms. Ralph teaches students enrolled in Grade 9 at WMLFNS. She earned her bachelor of Arts degree and her Bachelor of Education degree at the Vancouver Island University. Ms. Ralph’s experience includes work in both elementary and junior secondary classrooms on Vancouver Island
