Principal’s Message
Welcome to the 2011/2012 school year… it is nice to be back in China with Maple Leaf Educational Systems, and
especially nice to be the Principal of TTMLIS.
This year we celebrate the completion of the new Elementary / Middle School Campus and the dedication of the Tianjin TEDA Maple Leaf Education Park. Once again Maple Leaf Educational Systems takes its place as a leader in international education in China; our students graduate and attend first class universities and colleges around the world.
The BC Program continues to be the key to the success of the Maple Leaf International Schools… BC Certified teachers work hard teaching and encouraging students by using the best of the western teaching methodologies. They set high standards for their students and are always available to lend an extra hand and supply any extra help needed. We welcome back returning staff members and also welcome teachers new to TTMLIS and teaching in China for the first time.
Our commitment to students’ success is one of the outstanding features of TTMLIS. Our staff members work very hard to ensure students are successful in their studies. We educate all aspects of our students’ experience; we expect their dorms to be kept clean, their classrooms to be kept clean, and their assignments to be completed ‘on time’ to the best of their ability. We lead by example and provide excellent role models for our students to follow.
As Principal of TTMLIS I pledge to make our school the ‘Best it Can Be’… let us all do our best to make the 2011/2012 school year a very positive and rewarding experience.
