Principals’ Message

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 2009/2010 school year at Dalian Maple Leaf International School in Jinshitan. The school, now in its 15th year of operation, has developed a tradition of excellence. This commitment to providing high quality education has resulted in students being accepted into universities around the world. It is our aim to provide a purposeful blend of the East and West as we prepare students for the future.

This year will be an exciting and rewarding year as the boys and girls will be, for the first time, located on two different campuses. Dalian Maple Leaf International School is pleased to provide a unique opportunity for boys and girls to grow and learn in an environment that will help them achieve optimal success. It is our goal to make sure each student is successful in this new model.

Teaching strategies and learning activities will be provided that will focus on establishing high quality educational opportunities and optimize learning. Students will be challenged and motivated to achieve excellence and their accomplishments will be acknowledged. This model will provide the teachers and administrators an opportunity to address the specific educational needs of all students.

As our school continues to grow we have enhanced the broad range of opportunities, academically, athletically, and in the arts that are available for students. The tremendous selection of programs offered at Dalian Maple Leaf International School will provide students an opportunity to grow as a whole person and succeed in future endeavors. We encourage each and every student to become involved in the many extracurricular activities, show their school spirit, develop friendships and be proud of their accomplishments.

As we enter this new and exciting year much will be expected of each student but much will be accomplished. As we create this new culture we will achieve excellence.

We look forward to an exciting and rewarding 2009/2010 school year.
