Language Elective Department
Many students come to Maple Leaf to continue their high school studies in English. In order that students are successful in their English language courses, a variety of English language electives are offered. The many different language electives allow students to improve their abilities in reading, writing, and speaking. As well, survey courses in social studies, science, and literature introduce students to the select vocabulary of those disciplines, making the transition to English in the content areas much easier.
