Thank you for visiting Dalian Maple Leaf Foreign National School on-line. We welcome you, and appreciate your virtual visit. We encourage you to visit our Dalian Foreign National School in person, at your convenience. We would be pleased to give you a tour of the school.
We are pleased to provide you with an English Pre-School option as
well as a Kindergarten – Grade 9 British Columbia, Canada educationalprogram taught in English by British Columbia certified teachers.
The Dalian Maple Leaf Foreign National School has grown from approximately 50 students in September 2005 to 200 in June 2009. A quality educational program is delivered that provides introductory ESL Foundations Classes for students requiring English language acquisition and flexible transitioning into mainstream classes as the students’ English proficiencies improve.
Parents consistently express appreciation for the School’s principal, teachers, educational program, pleasant yet professional teacher-student rapport, and positive classroom and school atmosphere.
The School’s K-9 program is inspected and certified by the Ministry of Education of British Columbia, Canada. The Dalian Maple Leaf Foreign National School is required to pass annual, on-site inspections by inspectors from British Columbia to maintain its high standard and certification.
Students wishing to complete their Grade 10-12 education with Maple Leaf Educational Systems may do so by enrolling in the Dalian Maple Leaf International School: Jinshitan High School. Approximately 2,300 students are enrolled in the Jinshitan High School’s British Columbia Graduation Program. More than 125 British Columbia-certified teachers teach this program in English at the high school. Students write the same Ministry of Education provincial examinations, and graduate with the same British Columbia high school graduation (Dogwood) diploma as resident students in British Columbia. All universities in the western world recognize British Columbia, Canada’s high school diploma.
